Procedure

Lead in/ warmer (3-5 minutes) • To engage students to speak

Enter the class anf after greeting them i will describe their appearance and after i give them confidence, encourage them to speaking

First test (2-4 minutes) • Diagnostic their level of english

Ask ss to talk about their appearance. Make them use their own knowledge to talk.

Teaching vocabulary (9-15 minutes) • To clarify vocab and pronunciation

I will use the British council site to show the vocab , the picture of vocab,how to use it when we are speaking. I will make them back chain the words. I’ll give them sentences to make sure they understand correctly.

Second test (3-5 minutes) • Controlled practice

To make sure they fully understand the vocabulary

Practice • To provide controlled oral and speaking

Make ss to use appearance vocabs to describe each other and make sentences about their family and friends
