Procedure (33-43 minutes)
Ask students about their experiences of living and working away from home. (Business Trips included)
Match sentences (1-5) to pictures (a-e) (5 mins) ICQ Write your answers in your notebook. ( You have 2 mins) Elicit A’s before showing A-E- nominate Ss. Peer to Peer check. OCFB. Elicit FORM “ What type of words are these? Are they verbs, adjectives…?” Listen and mark the stress in each word, like this:
Initial Reading Task (Reading for Gist) (7 minutes) (5 minutes for Gist and 2 minutes for OCFB) Students have 5 minutes to answer the questions. - Who enjoyed the text? Why? Who found their learning experience useful? What is the text about? Which country did Chris move to? From who's perspective is the text written?
