By the end of this lesson, students will have practiced Skimming a drama text to infer the meaning of paragraphs. - By the end of this lesson, ss will be able to better use Second If Conditional in the context of giving advice to a drama character.
Subsidiary Aims

In this lesson ss will practice Speaking fo Accuracy to better use Second If Conditional to give advice. - In this lesson, ss will practice Speaking for Fluency to give advice.
Procedure (12-16 minutes)
Display the picture of Hamlet, and ask ss what is the most famous quote this character said. Elcitit "To be or not to be.." then ask: How is Hamlet feeling? (confused) What does he need? (Advice). Ask ss: In pairs, tell each other about something you need advice on.
Ss will be given a vocabulary matching acitivity to draw their attention to use key words for reading instead of reading the whole text. For the sake of this demo, one word will be clarified 'tolerate'.
For the sake of this demo, only instructins to these exercises will be given to ss and a walk-through it till the answers are displayed.
This stage will be delayed till after the grammar lesson to provide Controlled Speaking Practice.
