Procedure (36-45 minutes)
- Teacher will display questions about tips for being happy - Learners will work in groups in breakout rooms and discuss the questions - Teacher conducts OCFB
- Instructions: Read the text and connect the question with its answer - ICQ: Are we reading for a general idea or for detailed information? (detailed information) - Learners will solve the task at the same time they're reading the text - Teacher conducts OCFB - Instructions: Connect the words with its meaning - Teacher demos the task - Learners will solve the task in groups in breakout rooms - Teacher conducts OCFB - Instructions: Check the text and see where are the commas located in these words. - Teacher demos the task - Learners will solve the task individually in the chat box - Teacher conducts OCFB - CCQ for checking appropriacy: Do we use ‘also’ in a formal or an informal context? (In both)
- Instructions: Choose three topics from the box or your own ideas to write a tip for being happy. Make notes using the headings. - Teacher demos the task - Learners work in pairs to make this activity in breakout rooms - Monitoring - Teacher conducts OCFB - Instructions: Write two paragraphs about two tips for being happy. Use the structure and the language you learned. Everything must be 120 - 200 words long. - Teacher assigns a specific slide to every student to work with - Teacher provides an additional link for the writing task - Learners will work individually on their slide - Monitoring

- Teacher writes on the screen samples of the learners' texts - Learners identify the correct and incorrect sentences and correct the latter ones. - Teacher conducts OCFB
