By the end of this lesson , the SS will have practiced the meaning , pronunciation , and the stressed syllable of every new vocabulary.
Subsidiary Aims

By the end of this lesson , the SS should have practiced listening to complete the dialogue and practice the difference bet. countries and nationalities.
Procedure (37-49 minutes)
Ask the students some questions such as : Where do you come from? and What's your nationality? . Then , I'll let them ask eachothers in pairs .
* Ask the SS where they come from to expose their countries . *Create interest by focusing on the photos of the PPT. *Clarify the meaning of the different nationalities . *Let the SS work in pairs to practice short dialogues .
* Highlight the stressed syllable of every word like Japan (pan) , Japanese (ese) , Germany (Ger) , German (Ger) , China (Chi) , Chinese (ese) , Italy ( It ) , Italian (tal) , America (mer) , American ( mer) , Russia (Rus) , and Russian (Rus) .
* Check the meaning of the words y making CCQ :- -Are the people,who live in England, American ? - Are the people,who live in Japan, Japanese ? - Do the Chinese live in China ? - Do the Russian live in Australia ? * Drill the target language . * Write the meaning of the words on the board .
The SS will be given an audio as lisitening practice to complete the dialogue in their student books . Through listening , they will practice pronouncing the new vocabulary and enhance their language skills.
