Procedure (35-46 minutes)
- Learners observe the slide with images in the context of the worst inventions - T will elicit the lexis related to the images - Learers will go into BR to discuss the questions - OCFB
- Learners will read a text for the gist for 2 minutes - T will ask the students to relate the main idea with the number of the table - OCFB
- T will show a individual slides that cover meaning , form and pronunciation In the slide the student will determine if the articles are ‘A/an’ or ‘The’ with a diagram that contains a CCQ: Do the speaker and listener know what they're talking about?. If the students answer [YES] or [NO] then they have to connect the examples in order to find out which article is the one to use. A/an - (indefinite article) - /ən/ /oʊld/ /ʃu/ The - (definite article) - /ði: eksɪt/
- Learners will read extracts from the lecture and write the correspondent articles - Some paragraphs are blank -T will demo the task - Show answers and OCFB
- Students will discuss about the topic using the questions from the slide using BR - Students will use the TL during the discussion in BR - T will demo the task - Monitoring
