To provide fluency speaking activity in the context of visiting friends.
Procedure (32-41 minutes)
T shows a picture of a couple visiting their family and ask some questions to generate interest. Ls are divided into two groups to answer the following question: Do you like visiting friends? why? How often do you visit your friends? Ls share their answers with the class as feedback.
T exposes Ls to a short text with an exercise. T uses context to introduce the target language to Ls. T highlights the target language and elicit some information from Ls.
T goes through MPF ( meaning, pronunciation, form) - T checks Ls understanding by asking CCQS to clarify their understanding when necessary. -T models and asks students to drill. -T elicits the form and record it.
T shows pictures to Ls and asks them to describe it using the target language. T gives instructions" use the causative have to complete the sentences and describe the pictures"
