Procedure (35-45 minutes)
1- Set the context (stay fit and healthy).
1- Use ex "3b" on the SB page 80. * ( ALone) Students will read for gist. * In Pairs check the answer. * Ask the whole class about the answer. 2- Use ex "3c" on the SB page 80. * ( ALone) Students will read for specific information. * In Pairs check the answer. * Show the answer.
1- Brainstorming ( things you do to improve your health. 2- Give them chance to write some on the board. * You should eat healthy food. * You should do more exercise * Get to bed earlier. * Take the stairs.
1- Students discuss the questions. (In groups). a) which do you think is the best tip? Why? b) Do you do any of these things now? if yes, which ones? c) Which would you like to do in the future?
1- Role Play. a) Students will be divided into two groups. { DOCTORS & PEOPLE WANT TO IMPROVE THEIR HEALTH) b) There will some pictures on the wall (doctors) or (personal trainer). * Students (A): will act like Doctors or personal trainers. * Students (B): will ask them how to improve their health. c) They can change the doctor or the personal trainer. (Mingle)
