Description

In this lesson students will learn about passive construction. To set the context of its use in the news, students will start by discussing a few questions about their interaction with news. They will then be exposed to and notice passive construction in a comedy news video. MFP will be clarified through guided discovery tasks and questions. Students will complete a fill-in-the-blank for controlled practice and write a short news report of their own for freer practice.
