Procedure (33-45 minutes)
T shows Ss a Slide with a picture and ask: What's wrong? in the slide there are some sticky notes with phrases to match with the people in the picture. Ss drag the phrases to the correct position in the picture.
Ss watch the video and find out what's wrong with Simon and Emily. Ss answer the questions: What's wrong with Simon and Emily? Are they going to the meeting? Students discuss elicit answers. Show Ss the correct answers on the screen.
Students fill the gaps in sentences from the two conversations, Ss drag the sticky notes to the correct position. T nominates Ss to check answers together.
Meaning: Ss drag the sentences to the right column according to its purpose. T use different colors to confirm the order. Form: Ss drag the endings to the correct verb column go/ stay/ take. T hightlight the pronounciation patters on the screen, ask Ss where is the stress? Model and drill. Apropriacy: T clarify that it is recommended to use you should... instead of the imperative form, it is more polite.
Ss go to a google form to complete the gaps in a conversation about health with the options given. Ss check their answers in pairs for 3 min, then T show the correct answers on the screen.
T gives instructions to students and sends them useful language from the lesson in images through the chatbox CQs: Are you writing your a dialogue? No. Are you talking about holidays? How much time do you have? 6 minutes. Now they go to BOR to have a conversation about health problems using the target language on the images. They discuss their ideas for 6 min. In OCFB the teacher ask them, What's wrong with your partner? then, I'll ask to the other partner what was his partner's advice? DEC: I will show Ss examples of good use of language taken from their conversations, now I will show Ss some sentences to improve, elicit ideas and give them some suggestions.
