Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Ask students what they do in the morning

Listen to the girl talking about her day

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Ask Ss to write down all the actions the the girl mentioned

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Explain the use of Present Simple The 3rd person singular

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Ask students to make their own sentences using the phrases they have written down

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Ask students to tell about the day of their family
