For Ss to revise simple present in the form of positive, neagative, question, the time wors used with it and learn the function of it in the context of daily routine

For Ss to practice writing in the context of simple present in the context of daily routines

Procedure (23-30 minutes)

Highlighting (4-5 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

-T asks each group to find a verb in a paragraph of the text -T elicits the tense of it -T elicits the function of it -T elicits other functions of simple present -T elicits the form of present simple (positive, negative, question) -T elicits the time words used with the simple present

Clarification (4-5 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form of the target language

-T clarifies the function, form, and times words of the simple present -T clarifies the position of adverb of frequency in a sentence

Controlled Practice (3-5 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice
