Procedure (44-44 minutes)
- T welcomes Ss into the class. - T opens slide 1 and informs them about today's topic: Childhood memories. - T opens slide 2 and asks Ss if they can remember when they were 6 years old or 4 years old. - T asks Ss about their earliest memory. - After Ss share some of their memories, T explains that she will be sharing a memory of her own.
- T informs Ss that she will be sharing a memory she can't forget. - T shares her story and includes some of the useful language which will be presented next. -After the story is over, T asks if they have any questions. - T opens slide 7 and share the useful language she employed in her storytelling.
-T opens slide 8 and presents the useful language. - T clarifies meaning for each expression and models how they can be used in a sentence. - T drills pronunciation. - T asks if Ss have any question. - T informs Ss that they will be using these expressions in their speaking practice.
-T opens slide 9 and asks Ss to find an interesting memory to talk about. - T provides some questions that will help Ss to build a story. - T asks Ss to write down their answers. - T gives 3-4 minutes for students to complete their stories. -T opens slide 10 and asks Ss to take a screenshot. - After that, T pairs Ss into breakout rooms. -T informs Ss that they wll be telling their story to each other and sends them into the rooms for 15 minutes, while also using the expressions on the screen.
- T welcomes eveyone back. - T shares some great examples sentences with the class. -T shares some mistakes and asks Ss to correct them. -After that, T thanks everyone for their participation.
