To introduce and give practice in "have got/has got" in the positive and negative to describe personal possessions.

Procedure (33-41 minutes)
Welcome the students. T will display some items on PPT and get Ss to remember if they were Sally's, Billy's or both. Ss match the pictures with names on board. Instructions: T: Who do yo see on the board?Do you remember them.(use gesture for the word "remember" Elicit the answers. Look at the pictures.Whose are they?Elicit.Call the Ss to the board to match the items with the pictures.
T will elicit the TL,drill positive and negative forms,as well as the contractions. Analyse some sentences on the w/b,eliciting the form. T will write have got/ has got model on the board and invite the Ss to form sentences using the pictures on the board.
Introduce the personal possessions vocab. Ss in small groups complete the vocab HO made by the teacher filling in vowels in the words.Monitor the class while they are working. Give answer key to check. Model and drill the vocabulary, focusing on correct stress.Highlight the pronunciation of 'videos, digital camera" and 'radio".
Give Ss WkBk ex 4(folded in half)so that Ss can only see the chart. Elicit the instruction ( T: Should we open the paper?)Get Ss in pairs to talk about what each person has got using the TL.Remind them about the time.Once the time is up ,tell Ss to unfold the HO- in pairs they fill in the gaps with the correct form of the TL. Show the picture to the class and ask where Bill and Sally are.(an electrical shop)Elicit who the other man is( shop assistant).Demonstrate Ss that the shop assistant wants to find out what electrical products people have got. T: Think (gesture) Has Billy got a computer ? S: Yes. T:Maybe..In pairs ,write your guess; yes or no. Once they have done T asks Ss to listen to the recording and write "yes" or "no' in Billy's and Sally's answer columns. Feedback:w/c
