students will be asked to write their answers according to their understanding to the text and discuss it.
Procedure (31-39 minutes)
the teacher will ask students if they like to be fat or fit how many calories do you have every day ? Display some pictures with a wide smile to engage the students to the lesson and to pave the way to the pre-teach vocabulary stage.
Students will be introduced to some pictures to think about what they mean word by word like: 1- nature: a picture of a landscape will be shown to guide them to the meaning. 2. survey , the teacher will go through MPF then CCQs like: is it about your opinion? Yes. Is it obligatory? No 3.calorie: a picture of some vegetables and how many they have. 4.mile: a picture of a man running with sweat to show he is running for a while. 5.heathy 6.receptionist 7.adventure: Have you climbed a mountain before? if no, this is an adventure. Some thing might be risky)
students will be asked to read the questions first before they read. Then they will read for skimming the text. the teacher will be demo the first question with the students. Secondly, the students will be asked to read to answer the detailed questions.
The teacher will ask the students to check their answers together. Then, the teacher will show them the correct answer. If there are any problems, the teacher will help them understand and make them easier through explaining.
