In this lesson, stuudents will be able to practice and build awareness on the form, meaning and use of conjuctions in different contexts presented in a daily life basis.

To provide practice of conjunctions in the context of various daily situations

Procedure (39-50 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (5-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
T greets Ss and asks Ss the following questions: - Do you like to go shopping? - What do you usually get? - Where do you like to shop? online? malls?
Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation
T will tell students to look at the words in the box and discuss what they are usually used for. T tells Ss to complete the text with those words then check as group
Highlighting (8-10 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language
Tell Ss to look for an article in the NY times and spot the differents conjuctions which will be written on the board
Clarification (10-15 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language
T will explain meaning, form and use for each conjuction
Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice
