To provide practice of likes and dislikes in the context of writing a friendly letter to a friend that will go next school year to fifth grade

To provide product writing practice of a Friendly letter in the context of a friendly letter to a fourth grader
Procedure (42-53 minutes)
T asks Ss if they would like to know what to expect from next school year, and elicit them to think how can they achieve that.
T draws the layout of the friendly letter on the board so as for them to get familiar with its components.
T provides examples of giving advice using "should". "You should do your homework on time." "You should respect the classroom's rules."
By following the layout provided by the teacher. Ss will write a friendly letter to express their experiences, likes and dislikes about 5th grade. And using the TL provide some advice for the next school year to his/her fourth-grade body.
In pairs Ss check for errors
