Procedure (39-50 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
show pictures of a family member and speak about her.
Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage
teach the unknown words, elicit the meaning. make sure they understand the meanings of the words. drill and board them. Students look again to the practice, introduce changes and show them answers
Test #2 (8-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test
ss are given handouts including a story in which they fill the gaps using the target language.
Free practice (13-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language
students will tell one another about an interesting story in their life. they are asked to tell the whole class about their partner's story.
