Main Aims

To provide clarification and practice of verbs and adjectives that are compund words in different context.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide fluency while using the target language.
Procedure (33-46 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (5-8 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
Since I´m the first teacher, I will greet SS as they enter the room. I´m gonna use three pictures that are context related.
Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation
In this stage TT presents TL from SB. Then we drill the words-
Controlled Practice (6-8 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice
CCQ´s and discussion with the SS.
Highlighting (6-8 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language
In this stage, the SS are gonna go in breakout rooms and discuss TL. Then come back and discuss this with rest of the class.
Clarification (4-6 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language
Here T will clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the TL.
Semi-Controlled Practice (4-6 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice
Let the SS discuss in breakout rooms while T is monitoring.
