Procedure (33-43 minutes)
Teacher will provide learners 3 questions to engage them in the context of disagreeing politely. Learners will discuss questions in pairs or small groups via break out rooms. Teacher will monitor the groups before OCFB (Openn class feedback) QUESTIONS: 1. Can you think of anyone you've met that you instantly liked or disliked? 2. Have you ever changed your initial opinion of someone? if so, why? or why not? 3. Do you believe in love at first sight? why? or why not?
Teacher will provide learners with a text and a reading for specific information task in Google FORMS where learners will read and answer in pairs or small groups. Teacher will monitor each group before OCFB (Open class feedback).
Teacher will clarify meaning, Form and pronunciation of the target phrases: 1. I'm with you ON THAT POINT. = In that matter, in that respect. Teacher will provide learners an exercise in Google FORMS where learners are going to practice target language with a fill-in gaps exercise. Learners will do the exercise individually and then they will check and compare answers in different breakout rooms. Teaher will monitor groups before OCFB (Open class feedback)
Teacher will provide learners with 3 questions where they will practice new target language in pairs or small groups via breakout rooms. Teacher will monitor each group and will note down examples of good language, language that needs reformulation and language errors.
Teacher will provide students' spoken output.
