Procedure (38-46 minutes)
T shows 4 pictures and asks the following question: Do you know what is the topic of today's class? T elicits the answer from the students T send the link of google forms: https://forms.gle/W9HRBzt4pkRxpdfb7 T asks students to match the word with the correct definition for 2 minutes T elicits the answer T shows the answer key
T tells the students to Listen to five people talking about their ambitions, dreams, and achievements. T asks the students to match the names with the pictures T asks the students to discuss their answers in BoK T asks the students what are their answers T shows the answer key
Meaning and form: T tells the students to open the following link and answer the questionnaire in pairs: https://forms.gle/2qhhdDJBnPCNBnWRA Ss go to BoK and discuss their answers in pairs (3 min) T elicit their answers T Shows the answer key Pronunciation: T elicit the stress in the following sentences: One thing I would like to do one day is... It's always been my dream to... One thing I've done that I'm very proud of is... My greatest achievement was when I... T shows the correct stress in each sentence T choral drills the sententences.
T tells the students to make a List of Five ambitions/dreams/ Achievements they have in their life. 3 min T gives to the students the options to choose T tells the students to discuss their answers in pairs. 4 min
T tells the students to discuss the following questions in BoK in groups: How important are goals to you? What is your biggest goal in life? How do you plan to achieve that goal? What can you do now to be successful in the future? Do you think people have fewer goals as they get older? If you can't make your goal, how do you feel? Tell me about a goal that you achieved for yourself. What is something you never learned to do but wish you had?
-T conducts OCFB and DEC following up on the productive stage. -T writes on the screen samples of learners’ production and sets a task in pairs for learners to identify the correct and incorrect sentences and correct the latter ones.
