Procedure (43-45 minutes)
Instructions: Have learners talk 1 or 2 questions related to the state of the planet. 1. Do you think the following are Global problems? • Raising population, • Extreme poverty, • Hunger, • Conflict, • Child mortality, • AIDS, • Malaria. 2. Do you think the future of the world is bleak or bright? Ss will discuss those questions in BOR for three minutes.
1. Ss will find comparatives in the first part of the activity. 2. Ss will analyse what is before and after the comparatives to find the form.
Ss will have the opportunity to clarify MFP of double comparatives.
Ss will have the opportunity to practice MF completing sentences with their own ideas.
Ss will have the opportunity to practice double comparatives using Wordwall.
Ss will have the opportunity to understand their mistakes using the TL. The teacher will conduct OCFB, then DEC correcting inaccurate language.
