Description

In the following lesson, students first learn new vocabulary related to idioms for relaxing, then they will engage in a listening task, followed up by a speaking task as part of a task-based learning process to warm up and approach participle clauses. Given the students' previous knowledge of the material, examples from the listening task alongside the newly reading task provided in the book, will give a good opportunity for them to see a few examples of more complex utilization of participle clauses and their clarification presented by the teacher. The activity will be followed up with a controlled practice from the student book, a semi-controlled practice from the grammar book, and a free practice back in the student book. --> It should also be noted that CCQ and ICQ will be utilized quite frequently throughout the session, accompanied by delayed and/or on-the-spot correction wherever necessary.
