First, I will split the class into different teams.. Sit the students facing the board. Then take an empty chair - one for each team - and put it at the front of the class, facing the team members. These chairs are the 'hot seats'. Then get one member from each team to come up and sit in that chair, so they are facing their team-mates and have their back to the board. As the teacher, has a list of vocabulary items that will be used in this game. Take the first word from that list and write it clearly on the board or show them a flashcard. The aim of the game is for the students in the teams to describe that word, using synonyms, antonyms, definitions etc. to their team mate who is in the hot seat - that person can't see the word! The student in the hot seat listens to his team mates and tries to guess the word. The first hot seat student to say the word wins a point for his team. Then change the students over, with a new member of each team taking their place in their team's hot seat. Then write the next word…
First,Teacher will ask the students to close their eyes as they will listen to some audios.Next, they have to guess the sources of the audios. Then teacher will elicit the main title of the lesson from them.
First, teacher will give the students some sheets. Next, Students will work independently to cut and paste the correct adjectives To their pictures. The fastest one to finish by saying "BINGO" is the winner.
First, the teacher will open the PPT. Next, the students should look at the pictures, read the questions and try To guess the answers. Teacher will be eliciting and using CCQs To make sure that the students got the main points. Teacher will highlight the hard words and write them on the board.
The game is called "Heads-up" First, teacher will divide the class into groups. Next, teacher will give each group some flashcards. Then, one if each group will be holding the flashcard on his head. The others should describe the word using different range of words that are synonymous, but they can not say the word itself. Students will be changed after each turn.
First, teacher gives the students some sheets. Each student is responsible for his journal that talks about his feelings. The students should use their colours in the first page To colour the feelings they usually have. Next, in the upcoming page, students have To draw a picture of something that make them feel happy. Then, students will be into pairs. Each students should tell his friend about what he drew. They will exchange their drawings. The teacher will ask each student To talk about his friend.
First, teacher will open an online game. The game is about some cards and the students have To uncover the cards, then answer the questions. Students are allowed To help each others if anyone does not know. By the end of the lesson, teacher will give the students some coloured papers and ask them tomorrow write only one word about how the are feeling at the moment and say why.
