Description

In this lesson, students will watch a video about animals. they try to understand what they hear. Additionally, students will learn some vocabulary of animal s name. students will play a game with cards.

Materials

Abc card games
Abc video

Main Aims

  • To provide fluency speaking through animals

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide specific listening practice using videos and cards

Procedure

Warmer (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

The teacher greets students and tells them that they will play game. teacher askes them to play instruction game. sit down, stand up, turn around and so on

Exposure (7-10 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful words and phrases

show students animal's picture and ask them if they can name the animals. teacher tells them listen carefully to the video

Task (8-10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

students will listen again to the video. this time they try to repeat animal's name. this activity continues until each animals is mentioned.

Report (6-8 minutes) • To allow students to report on how they did the task and how it went

teacher shows students animal's name and askes them to tell which animals it is. practicing animal's name. ask them to draw the animals they love more .make sure the students understand.

Language Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with practice of the task language

teacher askes them to rad again quickly. discuss about their favorite animals. ask them to point out which one they like most and if there is any animals that they afraid of most
