Procedure

Warmer (2-3 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

i start the session by ask my students how they are and ask them about their day . then we start hidden picture game . [ i use a website for this game ]

Exposure (3-5 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

this part I want to make them ready to talk about their family , I want to ask them about the member of their family and how many siblings they have , how many uncles and aunts they have , but I want to ask this questions in their mother tongue , because they can understand it correctly and they can think about it .

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

the young learners love puppets and they pay attention a lot of the puppets so I want to use them for introduce each member of the family , I also want to change my voice and talk in the way of the character . for example I speak for the role of the father in a thick voice and for the role of the mother I speak in a thin and gentle voice

Clarification (5-7 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

i will use the family tree and show them the family members from the grandma and grandpa , to the children and other relatives .I have a video and in that video each character of the family came and introduce the role in the family . and the students have to repeat the role of the member in the family for example they have to repeat ( father ). depends on the picture of the character .

Controlled Practice (5-8 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

for this part i prepare an online game and they have to set each picture of the member of the family in the correct place in the family tree .then I asked them to prepare a family tree and put the picture of their family member in this family tree and send it for me to check them.

reflection (5-9 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

for the reflection I want to use the flash cards . in the side of the flash cards it's the photo of the member of the family and in another side it's the name of the character and the students have to say the member by the photo .I choose the flash cards because I want to be sure that the students can understand which character is for which member of the family , or relative
