T gives 'WH' questions to the students in jumbled form. Ss put the words in correct order.
T elicits the question form of simple past tense. Focuses to the meaning and form of the language.Drills the questions. -When did you go? -How dıd you go?
Ss match the questions with the answers given. After they answer and wrıte their personal answer on the handout. They will ask the same questions to their partner. They take notes about their partners' journey.
Students swap their seats and tell about their old partners' journey to his/her new partner.
T asks some students about their partners journey. T writes the Ss mistakes which has noticed while monitoring and tries to elicit the correct answers from the students.
T divides the Ss into two groups. T sticks irregular of past forms (V2). T asks to Ss to stand up and line up as two groups. When the teacher says V1 form, Ss try to take the V2 form from the board. After the game T counts the verbs and if needed gives a short information about regular and irregular verbs. T draws a postcard on the board.then trıes to elit the word postcard and drills it. After asks a student how do we start a postcard and how do we end a postcard. Then teacher shows to Ss an empty postcard template and asks them to write a postcard to one of their best friend about their journeys by using irregular verbs that are on the board.
