For learners to learn the concept of conditional sentences second and third, wish, and if only in the context of wishes and regrets

For learners to practice speaking to express unreality in the context of wishes and regrets
Procedure (35-45 minutes)
-T shows Ss images and asks them what they can see and what they think the wish or regret is in each situation, T elicits a range of answers, assesses how accurately students express the regrets or wishes but does not feedback on Ss. -T asks Ss to listen to five short conversations in a different order from photos A-E. -T asks Ss to compare their ideas and number the photos in the order they hear them -Ss listen, T monitors -T checks the answers and asks Ss if they can remember what people wish or regret
-T asks Ss to fill in the gaps by using the verb in the bracket on their own -Ss do the exercise, T monitors -T asks Ss to tell the answer of each question and shows the answer key
