Main Aims

To teach phrasal verbs of 'take' and 'put' by involving the students in the target language and eliciting it. I will make sure students understand what is the meaning of these phrasal verbs and how to use them.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide fluency and allow students to have further practice of the target language.
Procedure (35-41 minutes)
T greets the ss T shows ss some pictures and ask them to guess what they mean Ss start giving their ideas T starts writing the verbs 'take' and 'put' with their pictures
T exposes ss to the target language by using a conversation text T starts with CCQs on the target language Ss try to discover the meaning of the phrasal verbs mentioned in context
T highlights the target language T explains the meaning of a phrasal verb T gives ICQs to check their understanding of the target language
Ss analyze the target language to have a better understanding of the concept T presents to the ss a task about the target language T show a sample on how to use the app before taking them to breakout rooms, where they will do this task. when ss come back to the main room, they discuss their answers then, teacher provides a feedback
T provides ss with handouts and ask ss to do it alone in the handouts, there are 8 sentences and 8 words in a box. Students are going to use the target language by filling the gaps with the correct word. then, they will listen to an audio to check their answers together. Ss discuss their answers and T gives feedback
Ss produce language using the target content freely. Ss have a debate about what they have learned throughout the lesson. Ss strengthen their knowledge in this stage.
