To provide writing freer practice for accuracy of an Informational paragraph on Why Brown Bears are a species. in the context of Coastal and In-land Brown Bears.
Procedure (36-52 minutes)
The teacher will ask Ss if they have ever seen a bear. Students will write as many types of bears as they can come to mind and post them on the board. Appendix 1
Students will listen to information about Brown Bears and within the video T will give 3 questions about the listening. Ss will self-correct their answers when T will display the correct answers. Appendix 2
T will display a reading text “Brown Bears.” Randomly Ss will read it out loud. Appendix 3
T will display fill in the blanks exercise, so as for Ss to infer meaning Appendix 4
Randomly Ss will end reading the text Appendix 5
T will display a game of matching pairs and instruct Ss to pair the words with the correct meaning. Randomly Ss read them out loud to review Appendix 6
Ss will write an informational paragraph on why Brown Bears are a species on their own.
