Procedure (47-60 minutes)
In this part, I'd use a fun way to introduce myself.I'd use a dice to answer to some questions on the board.my students and I will take turns in throwing the dice.Anyone who gets the highest number on the dice gets to answer the first question. The questions are about our personal information.(name,age,nation,job,..)
In this stage, I'd ask my students to look at the pictures and number them by guessing. Then, I'd play the audio and ask my students to check their answers. Now,I'd give a handout to my students and ask them to fill in the blanks based on what they heard.Checking answers is important.
In this part, I'd work on parts which my students had trouble in learning.(might be days of the week, vowel sounds, grammar or word stress). Teacher talking time must be noticed. Then, I'd show some pictures about countries.(famous people living abroad:The students take turns guessing who they are or where they're from.) I'd assign some tasks and elicit the gist from my students.
I'd assign some tasks and activities that are related to nations and people to test their use of the TL. I'd give instructions and wait for my students' recognition and production, if anyone had trouble comprehending, I'd help them correct their mistakes. At last, we check answers together.
In this part, I'd work on tactics and word skills. We can have a discussion about the content we learned. Students must be active in discussions. Production is clinical. Review is necessary.
