After this lesson, students will be able to define possessive adjectives, differentiate between possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns ,and properly use possessive adjectives in context
Subsidiary Aims

To give the sts an opportunity to practice TL through controlled and semi-controlled exercises and write sentences using possessive adj.
Procedure (35-45 minutes)
-Introduce myself by asking "Do you remember my name? and follow up by asking individual students , "Do you know his name?" "What is your name?'' -In this stage, T shows Ss using power point a picture of Simpson's family -Elicit' possessive adjectives' that could describe them. -T asks students about the members of the family using the key question 'Who is he / she? 'Who are they?'. -T could help Ss in remembering the family words.
-Write the possessive adjectives,positive and negative forms of the verb '' to be''.To give examples by showing materials. -Highlight and clarify the target language (checking meaning, form and pronunciation) and then language practice will be given.
T uses the previous power point to explain to the Ss that the subject pronouns comes before a verb and that the possessive adjectives comes before a noun. -T has to make sure that Ss know what's a noun and what's a verb?
-Use the audio ,get the students listen to it and then fill in the blanks on page 11. -SS peer-check their answers . - T reflects the answers.
-T asks SS individually to report back from their notes and about their partners -SS uses his/her - he/she as target language other than I/you - my/your
