Procedure (35-48 minutes)
-T asks the Ss about the places they like going in their free time. -T shows the Ss six pictures (for cinema, restaurant ,swimming pool ,Cairo tower , park and beach) which are hanged on the class' walls to choose which of them they want or like going to in their free time -T asks ICQs : Do you have to choose one place ? No -T asks one of the Ss about his/her choice and why he/she likes going to this place -T asks the Ss to share theirs choices in pairs and explain why ? -T listens to some of the Ss answers'
-T shows the Ss a worksheet that has different pictures for places in town , then tells them to choose the right word under each picture for each place , and gives them the worksheet -T asks the Ss to share their answers with their partner
-T listens to the Ss' answer and ask CCQs (if it's needed) -T drills the places with the Ss
-T shows the Ss a box it has different categories (as 1-in your free time 2-to study or learn 3-to work 4-shopping 5-in your holiday) then asks the Ss which of these places you go to study or learn something ? -T write their answer in to eat or buy food part ,then asks them to match the places to the suitable category -T asks ICQs as : -Do you have to write one place in each part of the box ? No -Do you have to write all the places ? No -T asks the Ss to share their answers together in pairs -T listens to the Ss answers
-T draws a small map on the board to describe her town , then explains the map as" this is my town , here is my flat i live in it with my family , i have a supermarket in my street and a bank too , here is the mosque i go to every Friday , here it's a restaurant to eat with my friends , then we go to the cinema here , my father works in this bank and my mother works in the hospital here " -T asks the Ss to draw their own map for their town to describe the places in it -T asks the Ss to describe to each others their maps for their towns -T asks some of the Ss about the places they drew , after they finish sharing -T provides the Ss with feedback
