Procedure (39-49 minutes)
- T asks S where they are from and if they like it there. Then, Ss will discuss some questions: Where are you from? What are the people like there? Do you like where you live now? Why or why not? - Learners work in pairs in breakout rooms and discuss. - T conducts OCFB.
- T shows Ss text and asks them to find as many adjectives as they can, and compare them in the chat. - T conducts OCFB
MEANING: - T gives a link to Google Form with words and pictures. Learners need to choose the correct option. Instructions: Match the capitalized words to the correct option. - Demo the task - T conducts OCFB and clarifies M with CCQs -- Example: Does crowded mean a lot of people or only a few people? A LOT, Are you excited from something if it is boring? NO, Are people in movies famous? YES, Does affordable mean you spend more or less money? LESS, What is more dangerous, sleeping or driving a car? DRIVING A CAR, Are people who travel a lot adventurous? YES. FORM: - T clarifies F by having Ss choose between two sentences. Instructions: Choose the correct sentence for each word. Make sure the adjective is in the right place. - Ss work in pairs in breakout rooms and discuss. - T conducts OCFB, CCQ: Do adjectives usually go before or after nouns?
