Procedure (36-41 minutes)
Lead-in (4-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
1. Ask your learners to talk about the topic on Google Jamboard 2. Conduct OCFB
Text work ([gist] + intensive task) (7-8 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation
3. Design a text with the TL and give Ss a gist task. Have learners compare answers in pairs (via private messages) before OCFB
MFPA (11-12 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language
4. Cover Meaning, Form, pronunciation and Appropriacy of TL. (on Google Slides or Forms)
Controlled Practice (7-8 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice
5. Provide controlled practice of the language. (on Google Forms) 6. The learners do this individually and then check in pairs (via private messages). OCFB
Free Practice (7-8 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language
7. Provide FP of the language. (on breakout rooms) 8. Conduct Feedback and DEC.
