Procedure (32-41 minutes)
Show a photo of Guernica Painting. Ask Ss how often they go to museums. What type of art museums they like?
Ss read a short text describing a painting. Ss are asked to scan the text and answer what's the text about. S work on their own Ss exchange answers with Peers OCFB
Meaning: students make a True or False exercise to identify the meaning of the targeted language Form: ask Ss 2 CCQs to identify what type of words are these? Pronunciation: - Sentence stress: T Read aloud and ask Ss where is the sentence stress. - Ss drill.
Ss are shown two different paintings (one of pop art and one from Impressionism). Ss will first describe the paintings using the language they were exposed. Ss in breakout rooms will describe painting #1 Ss in breakout rooms will describe painting #2 Ss in breakout rooms discuss about what painting they like more and why.
OCFB: Teacher nominate 2 Ss to say. what was the painting they liked more and why. Language Feedback: Teacher goes through DEC, from notes collected during Speaking Practice observation
