Procedure (27-34 minutes)
T will show them some pictures of celebrity families and will ask them to know about it. Ss will brainstorm and T will tell their names and relations.
T will draw a family tree on W/B and list of family names on one of it.By using the picture,T will elicit family vocabulary step by step.T will do lots of repetition and drill it,e.g. Bill's Kate's father.Then T get Ss to practice in pairs -looking at the tree & saying who each person is in relation to the others. T introduces the family on handout.Get Ss to read & fill in the gaps with the correct vocab- using picture to help them.T let them check in pairs & then Ss listens to the CD to check their answers.
T get Ss to do ex:3,4,5 to have practice about possessive.T also let them know about the difference of 's/is/+s.In every exercise T clarifies on W/B.
T gives Ss blank family tree -get them to ask questions and answer with simple sentences.sentences. Ss get it complete check in pairs.Teacher gives them a work sheet for this .After this if time -T give them further practice and Ss work in pairs.
