Procedure (44 minutes)
T will ask students if they have watched the movies she shared on the screen or if they have read the book. If one student has read/watched she will ask that student to share their opinion on it. INSTRUCTIONS: And what you think of the movie? Do you recommend it to your classmates?
T will send students in break-out rooms to try and identify which paragraph is a formal or informal review. INSTRUCTIONS: In pairs read the reviews and identify the formal and informal ones. You have 4 minutes.
T will elicit students to share their answers. T will underline the factors that the student used to classify the reviews. INSTRUCTIONS: (name) please share your answers. CCQs: What helped you choose that paragraph as formal/informal?
T will send students in break-out rooms so they can identify the different parts of the review. They will work in a group using different goggle docs. INSTRUCTIONS: In groups please try and identify the different parts of the review. Each group has a different page to work on. You have 6 minutes.
