Students will be presented with 3 pictures on google jamboard and have to guess what they think it is about. In the second slide students will be presented with a quote, "If you want to do something you have never had, you have to do something you have never done."

The teacher will be putting on a podcast from Ted Talks, titled "Try something new for 30 days" The teacher will have them listen to the podcast first and then have them fill out a google form with 2 questions. For this task, the students will be listening for gist. Once the form has been filled out the students and teachers will go over the answers in class together.

The teacher will present a google form with six True and false questions and have the students read through them first. The students then will listen to the podcast again and fill out the google form as they listen. They will be put in pairs to go over the answers and then they will go over the answers with the whole class.

The teacher will have the students fill out a google form to go over the meaning of certain words in the listening task and the form. They will fill out the form on their own and then work in pairs to go over the answers. Once they have gone over the answers in pairs, they will go over it with the whole class. Next, the teacher will go over the pronunciation and stress of words that they did for meaning. The teacher will be doing drilling exercises with the whole class for pronunciation.

There will be a whole-class discussion with two questions. The teacher will ask the whole class, "do you think you would do a 30-day challenge and if so what would it be?" The teacher will give the opportunity for each student to answer in front of the whole class.
