CCQs: Is this something unexpected? yes What if I tell you we have to work in pairs? Is something that we usually do? yes INSTRUCTIONS: Please share something that you did yesterday and everyone else please respond to that person
T will share a slide with 5 positive interjections. Ss need to fill in the blanks with the words given. INSTRUCTIONS. Individually fill in the blanks.
INSTRUCTIONS: Let's check our answers in breakout rooms, you have 2 minutes.
T will share a slide with 5 negative interjections, Ss need to fill in the blanks INSTRUCTIONS. We are going to do the same thing as before, you have 3 minutes to answer.
INSTRUCTIONS: Again in break out rooms let's check the answers. 3 minutes.
T will share a side with the previous exercises. Ss need to identify which belong to being surprised and which ones don't. INSTRUCTIONS: Which exercise used phrases that we use when we are surprised? Why?
