To provide control practice of the Functional language. To teach learners how to use the Functional Language fluently.
Procedure (38-44 minutes)
T- will use the prediction lead in. T- will show students 1 question in a slide and ask their opinión about it. And write individually in the chatbox T- will read some of the students opinions
T- set timer for this stage T- will ask S to listening carefully for the main idea of the audio and answer “ What is the main problem T- will play de audio and ask ss to type in the chat box to a partner their answer to this question S- will have 1 minute to share answers T- will ask 2 students to talk about their answers.
T- will tell students she will play de audio again so they have to choose in a exercise GOOGLE FORM) “ WHAT FUNCTIONAL LANGUAGE DO THEY HEAR WHEN TINA AND CLOE ARE TALKING THROUGH THE PHONE” T- teacher share the link with students T- plays the audio S- will have to share with pairs in the chatbox T- make OCFB to share answers.
T- show a slide with 3 phrases from the audio. T- Will explain the phrases using CCQ, and Examples of: Meaning/Appropriacy/Pronunciation Would you like me to come round? No, it´s ok but thanks for offering Are you sure you wouldn´t mind?
T- will share students a link of Google slide with an exercise where they have to complete the conversation with the phrases in the box. T- will tell ss they have 2 minutes to complete the Activity individually T- Ask SS to share the answers in pairs for 1 minute. T- call ss to an OCFB
T- will show the slide . T. will gives s an scenario : 1.-When was the las time you offered to help someone? 2.-What was the problem? 3.-Did the person accept your help? T-will give 3 minutes students in a breakout room T- will ask to OCFB.
