'e.g.' : if the teacher gives the verb 'go' in the simple present tense, then the Ss will be expected to find the simple past form of the verb to 'go' and in this case the answer is 'went'. if the teacher gives the verb 'had' in the simple past tense, then the Ss will be expected to find the simple present form of the verb 'had' and in this case the answer is 'have'.
First the teacher will show the pictures to the students and get them to guess the topic of the lesson. Then the teacher will hang a picture on the board of a dining table with seperate lines related to the picture. The students will ask to teacher the following questions: Where did you go?, When did you go?, What did you eat?, Who did you go with?, What did you wear?, What did you drink? Then the teacher will answer according to her own special meal.
Students will be working in pairs. Then the students will refer to handout that was given by the teacher in order to find out information about their partner's special meal by using simple past tense.
The teacher asks the Ss one by one to give the information about their partner's special meal and share with the class. Asking the students to fill out the handout for their feedback.
