Main Aims

  • To provide clarification of language used for asking and giving directions in the context of helping someone find his way.

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide fluency speaking practice in a using a role-play in the context of in finding directions after getting lost.

Procedure

Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Ask students to discuss how to tell someone who has lost directions.

Listening - Intensive Task (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation
