Procedure (29-35 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
Students will discuss a question: What is the best way to learn?
Highlighting (2-5 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language
I will present 6 lexical items form the exercise. Students read a text for gist and decide the correct title. Breaking rooms to discuss their answers.
Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language
Students work on a googleform meaning, form and pronunciation. Together we analyse content.
Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice
Students work a googleform to complete choosing the correct answer. Students do it individually, then in breaking rooms check answers. Final OCFB.
Free Practice (8-5 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language
Students work on a communicative task and discuss 3 questions in breking rooms. Final feedback.
