Procedure (42 minutes)
T shows presentation slides to open up topic. Students discuss in breakout rooms the questions of: What are some useful modern inventions? What do we use today that we probably won’t use in the future?
S use google forms to take a quiz on: Least probable to most probable Sentence structure using will definitely / definitely won't, may, might, etc. Students peer check their work.
T presents MFPA to clarify language with students by using google slides. CCQ's to check understanding
S use google forms quiz #2 to practice sentence structure, using the target language to fill in the blanks. Students use target language to speak about their lives. Peer check in breakout rooms.
Students go into breakout rooms to speak about their plans for after the pandemic. Activity encourages students to use the target language but does not limit them to it. Finish with Open Class Feedback
