Procedure (37-49 minutes)
Ss will play a warm up game on Bamboozle.com helping to dentify common safety signs, which corresponds to the last speaking portion of this lesson.
Exercises 5 and 6 will be about replacing words with modal verbs and producing the same meaning
Learners will work in pairs to match the underlines words to the model verbs in section B. Will go to breakout rooms and figure out the phrase that can replace the modal verb.
Students will listen to 7.5 carefully and repeat the rephrased version of the sentences in 5 and 6.
Will pair off with a different partner and will brainstorm and create sentences based on the words in section B to practice producting language skills.
Learners will be given 10 sentences, some of which containing errors. I will read the sentences aloud and the leanrers will listen, indentify and correct the errors.
Learners will look at pictures of signs and will be asked to express the meaning of each sign and compare them with one another.
