Procedure (31-42 minutes)
Ss will discuss in pairs 1 question that is related to the topic of the lesson. Instruction. Work in pairs. Do you think dreams can tell us anything about the future? They will have 2 minutes for this activity in the Breakout rooms. After T will elicit some answers.
T will show 3 words (owl, frightened, success) on Google form, Ss have to read and choose the definition of the words after the Ss will see the same 3 words and they have to identify if the word is an adjective or a noun and for pronunciation, Ss will match the words with the correct phonetic symbols. T gives OCFB
SS will hear an audio to get the general idea of the conversation. They will Listen to a psychoanalyst talking to a patient about his dreams and choose the best summary of their conversation. Ss will work individually in this task and when they finish Ss will compare their answers in pairs before OCFB with visual support is provided.
To set a task based on detailed comprehension on this stage, T will give the students a true/false exercise on Google forms , if the answer is false, the students have to write some words to give more details about why the statement is false. If it is necessary, T will play the audio twice. Ss will work individually in this task when they finish they will compare their answers with their partners and say if they agree or disagree. Afterwards, we will have open class feedback
In this stage of the lesson, T will ask Ss four questions the purpose of this activity is that students can react or personalize the topic. For this activity Ss are going to work in pairs and discuss. When they finish, in the open class feedback they will share their opinions. T conducts feedback and addresses any needed DEC T thanks Ss for their time and hard work before saying goodbye.
