Procedure (37-45 minutes)
T will ask ss to brainstorm the different situations in which people might want to send an email. I will show a picture to them. 1) "Why do you send emails? You have 2 minutes to talk to your peers." 2) ICQ them 3) Send them the link 4) OCFB
SS will be matching parts of the email to its main paragraph ideas/function (greeting, celebrating a birthday, farewell/wish lines). 1)"Please read this text and match the letters to the parts of the email (show it to them). Ss will write an email using a google doc. 1) "Write an informal email to a friend inviting him/her for something. Please use 3 phrases from the previous exercise. You have 10 minutes." (show google doc and explain it to them) 2) ICQ them 3) Send them the link 4) Monitor them for feedback
