We are going to play a game. Two truths and a lie T gives an example I have been studying to be an ESL teacher. I have been to Italy. I have not watched any movies in 4 months. Two of these are true and one is false. T picks one Ss to ask me questions about the one they think might be false Before we start- Take two min to think of two things you have done or are doing that are true and one thing that is false. T sends Ss to break out rooms. T does not give the time T monitors the game T will use this time to decide if there is time for DEC T will make a judgement call based on- How they are using the TL - are there many mistakes? How much time do we have? - I want ample time for them to practice Are they struggling to get started or are they freely conversing?
