Procedure (34-48 minutes)
Explain to the ss the difference between going to and might. Teacher write on the board two sentences and elicit the difference in meaning. Then explain the grammar rule. Positive. I’m going to see Tony tomorrow. Future plan is decided. Subject+ to be+ going to + infinitive Negative. I’m not going to see Tony tomorrow. Positive I might see Tony tomorrow. It’s possible but not decided. Subject+ might+ infinitive I might not see Tony tomorrow. Qiestions with going to. Are you going to see Tony tomorrow? Auxiliary+ subject+ going to+ infinitive. Do you think you might see Tony tomorrow? Do you think you might come to the party tomorrow? Do you think+ subject+ might+ infinitive. Wh- questions with going to. What are you going to do next year? Where are you going to live next year? Question word + auxiliary+ subject+ infinitive.
Ss will be given an exercise and they have to fill in the gaps with the correct form of going to or might. Take FB Key 1 ‘m not going to do 2 might go 3’m not going to work 4 might get 5 ’m going to do 6 might get

Ss will be divided to student A and Student B, they will be given HO with different questions, and they practice the questions together. It’s good to use some of this expressions. I don’t know / I’m not sure
Ss will be asked to write three things that might do and two things they are going to do next year. When they finish ss work in pairs and take turns to say their sentences. Check their sentences for accuracy and help with any problems
